Galvanised steel material handling platform.

Our client required the services of a Brisbane based metal welder and fabricator to design and construct a galvanised steel material handling platform.

What were the challenges?

The galvanised steel welding and fabrication needed to be structural capable of safely lifting large car body parts to and from a mezzanine storage area with their forklift inside their factory. Strength of the load bearing equipment was therefore of paramount importance.

How did Davis Welding and Fabrication solve these challenges?  

After carefully discussing the requirements of our client we designed and built a platform that was robust enough to carry large car body parts.

Project result

Our client was thrilled with the result as they can now move large car body parts easily and safely raise and lower them between their mezzanine and workshop areas.

The platform has enhanced operational safety and reduced risks associated with carrying parts up and down stairs within their factory.
